Outside Sales Representative / Account Manager
Position Overview
The Outside Sales Representative / Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth within the lawn care and landscaping sector through proactive prospecting client relationship development and effective account management. This role requires a disciplined sales approach strong communication skills and the ability to oversee service delivery to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through structured prospecting cold calling and targeted outreach
- Develop and maintain longterm relationships with residential and commercial clients
- Manage assigned accounts ensuring consistent communication service accuracy and timely followup
- Oversee the execution of sold jobs to confirm alignment with project specifications timelines and quality standards
- Conduct routine property inspections to verify service quality and identify improvement opportunities
- Evaluate existing accounts for potential service enhancements and upsell opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions job details and sales activities within company systems
- Collaborate with operational teams to support efficient job scheduling service delivery and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Requirements
- Prior experience in outside sales cold calling or leadgenerationfocused roles preferred
- Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently manage multiple priorities and maintain a structured schedule
- Comfortable working outdoors and visiting client properties regularly
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record required
