Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to support our growing Government Contracting (GovCon) initiatives. This role is ideal for professionals with business development or capture experience who are interested in expanding client relationships identifying federal opportunities and driving growth within the GovCon space.

You will work closely with senior leadership to identify new business opportunities engage potential clients and partners and contribute to strategic growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify opportunities within the federal government market.

  • Support lead generation efforts and conduct outbound outreach to prospective clients and partners.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with industry professionals and decision-makers.

  • Assist with market research and competitive analysis within the GovCon space.

  • Track and monitor federal opportunities across procurement platforms.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to support business development initiatives.

  • Help prepare presentations capability statements and proposal materials.

  • Maintain accurate records of leads activities and interactions in CRM systems.

  • Support capture activities and strategic pursuit efforts for federal opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required.

  • 5 years of experience in Business Development Capture Management or GovCon-related roles.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience identifying and pursuing federal contracting opportunities.

  • Self-driven proactive and results-oriented mindset.

  • Ability to conduct research and identify new business opportunities.

  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.

  • Familiarity with federal procurement processes and contracting vehicles is preferred.
