Job Summary

Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP one of the worlds leading global law firms with offices in strategic hubs of commerce law and government across North America Asia Europe and the Middle East is seeking to hire a highly motivated Business Development Coordinator to join our award-winning Business Development team. Youll work with our Litigation Practice Business Development team primarily supporting the Class Actions Business Disputes and Privacy practice areas.

In this role youll help execute strategic business development initiatives while coordinating day-to-day activities in a fast-paced environment. Youll assist in the planning execution and advancement of client-focused business development strategies that strengthen relationships and drive practice growth.

Were looking for someone who is self-motivated responsive analytical and detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills. Success in this role requires a high energy level and flexibility including occasional overtime.

Maintaining an in-office presence is important to delivering our services through an integrated and collaborative work culture. This position may reside in either our New York or Philadelphia office follows a hybrid three (3) days per week in-office working arrangement.

What youll do:

  • Draft and coordinate pitches RFP responses and presentations under the direction of managers and senior managers.

  • Draft and edit correspondence PowerPoint presentations visual resources and other client-facing materials collaborating with colleagues across departments to format proofread print and compile deliverables to firm standards.

  • Leverage firm tools to manage data conduct research using internal and external resources and create reports in support of business development initiatives.

  • Partner with the Marketing and Events teams to develop event content identify business generation opportunities and coordinate post-event follow-up.

  • Assist with budget development maintenance and tracking.

  • Support business development operations including communications reporting and experience management.

  • Coordinate responses to ad hoc requests and special projects.

Who were looking for:

  • Associates or bachelors degree and three (3) years of relevant professional experience preferably in a law firm or other professional services or consulting organization. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

  • Comfortable working independently while managing multiple projects and priorities in a collaborative team environment.

  • Proven ability to balance competing demands and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced professional setting.

  • Excellent communication writing proofreading and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to building relationships with colleagues at all levels of the organization.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint Word Excel and database applications along with the ability to quickly learn new technology and software

For positions in New York NY the salary range for this job posting is: $67400.00 - $107825.00.

The base salary or hourly wage range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors including but not limited to prior experience relevant expertise current business needs and market factors. The final salary or hourly wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances. Additionally salary or hourly wages may be only part of the total compensation package. The total compensation package for this position may also include a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation sick time and parental leave) dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
