Business Data Scientist

This position will partner with cross-functional teams to extract model and visualize data from ERP CRM and external macroeconomic sources. Using Python Snowflake and Power BI the role will develop predictive and segmentation models deliver actionable business analytics create dashboards and KPIs identify trends and performance drivers and translate complex data into insights that improve forecasting resource allocation operational efficiency and bottom-line results. The position will also support data-governance initiatives to ensure consistent reliable and trusted information across the organization.

• Develop and deliver advanced analytics and machine learning models to support business performance and strategic decisions.
• Integrate ERP CRM and macroeconomic data to generate actionable insights for leadership and functional teams.
• Design implement and deploy predictive classification clustering and optimization models.
• Create and maintain PowerBI dashboards and reporting tools to monitor key performance indicators.
• Conduct data mining statistical analysis and visualizations to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive adoption of analyticsbased process changes.
• Participate in datagovernance initiatives to ensure data quality consistency and compliance.
• Document requirements support change management and assist in processimprovement projects.
• Manage largescale data processing workflows in Snowflake and ensure cloudbased data infrastructure reliability.
• Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Perform other work related tasks as assigned.
• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Data Science Statistics Computer Science Economics Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of experience or equivalent education in data science analytics or business analysis in a manufacturing or industrial environment (preferred).
• Proficiency in Python SQL and modern analytics libraries for machine learning and statistical modeling.
• Demonstrated ability to build models that drive revenue growth cost reduction and bottomline improvement.
• Excellent communication stakeholder management and collaborative teamwork skills.
• Experience with process innovation change management and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Actionoriented mindset with strong problemsolving abilities and business acumen.

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters/Ph.D. degree in Data Science Statistics Computer Science Economics Engineering or related field.
• Strong experience with Snowflake for data warehousing integration and analytics.
• Expertise in PowerBI for data visualization dashboard creation and reporting.
• Handson experience with ERP and CRM systems and large multidimensional data sets.
