Job Summary
Role: Business Consultant PMO
Location: Charlotte North Carolina (Hybrid)
Type: Contract
Day to Day job Duties:
- Support the PMO in tracking and monitoring the status of ongoing projects ensuring timely updates are captured in project trackers and reporting tools.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project plans timelines status reports and executive presentations using MS Office tools (Excel PowerPoint Word).
- Coordinate and schedule project meetings prepare agendas capture meeting minutes and follow up on action items with relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate project data using project management tools; ensure data integrity across all project documentation and dashboards.
- Liaise with HR Business Partners Talent Acquisition Learning & Development and other functions to gather project updates and flag any risks or blockers.
- Support the onboarding of new projects into the PMO framework by ensuring documentation standards and intake processes are followed.
- Assist in preparing reports and decks for senior leadership summarizing project health milestones and key deliverables.
- Participate in ad hoc PMO initiatives as required demonstrating flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities.
Basic Qualifications:
- Min. 2 years of experience in a corporate environment whether through full-time employment or internship experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite Outlook Excel PowerPoint Word
- Familiarity with project tracking tools or applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus; experience with tools such as Smartsheet Jira or similar PM platforms preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion when handling sensitive business information.
Travel: This position is based in Charlotte North Carolina in Hybrid Mode.
Degree: Bachelors degree in human resources Project Management or a related field of study.
Nice to Have:
- Prior exposure to PMO methodologies or project management frameworks
- Experience supporting corporate functions such as Operations PMO Employee Relations
