Business Systems Analyst (Data & Analytics) - 5 Years

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst(BSA) with 5 years of experience and strong expertise in Data & Analytics preferably within the Healthcare / Pharmacy (Rx) domain. The ideal candidate will work closely with Scrum teams business stakeholders and cross-functional IT teams to deliver Data Engineering Reporting and Analytics solutions ensuring alignment with business objectives and data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement Gather analyze and document business requirements related to data engineering and analytics solutions
• Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements for development teams
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams
• Facilitate workshops requirement discussions and stakeholder sign-offs
• Data & Analytics Delivery Drive delivery of Data Engineering Reporting and Analytics projects
• Work with teams on data pipelines ETL/ELT processes and data warehouse solutions Support development of reports and dashboards (Power BI Tableau etc.)
• Ensure data accuracy validation and reconciliation across systems Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Collaborate with data engineers architects QA teams and business teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Work across multiple IT teams and business units to ensure seamless execution
• Drive alignment between data architecture reporting and business needs Healthcare / Domain
• Responsibilities (Preferred) Work with Healthcare / PBM / Rx datasets (claims benefits membership provider data)
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance standards (HIPAA EDI transactions)
• Support data-driven use cases in member services pharmacy benefits and analytics reporting

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 years of experience in Product Owner / Business Systems Analyst roles
• Strong experience in Data & Analytics / Data Engineering projects
• Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Hands-on experience with: User story creation backlog management and Agile ceremonies SQL and data analysis concepts ETL/ELT and data warehousing concepts
• Experience with reporting and visualization tools (Power BI Tableau Cognos)
• Strong experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams Excellent communication stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
