Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven Business Analyst to support the organizations reporting and data analytics needs. This role will focus on developing maintaining and enhancing reporting frameworks related to key performance indicators (KPIs) assets under management (AUM) and business trends. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of data flows (custodians clearing firms portfolio accounting systems CRM platforms) data aggregation techniques and reporting methodologies and will be comfortable engaging with senior leadership.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop maintain and enhance recurring and ad hoc reports related to KPIs AUM AUA and organizational performance by business unit product line advisor channel etc.
  • Standardize KPI definitions and reporting structures across business unites to enable consistent enterprise level insights
  • Support the design and implementation of KPI frameworks dashboards and performance metrics
  • Analyze and interpret trends in financial and operational data such as net new assets revenue and retention metrics to support strategic decision-making
  • Aggregate and reconcile data from multiple internal systems and external data sources (custodians carriers clearing firms) to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency automation and data quality
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to senior leadership
  • Ensure data integrity and governance standards are upheld across reporting outputs
  • Document data sources definitions and reporting processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Business Economics Data Analytics or a related field
  • 36 years of experience in business analysis reporting or data analytics
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions pivot tables data modeling)
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau or similar) preferred
  • Solid understanding of financial metrics and KPI frameworks
  • Ability to work with large complex datasets and synthesize insights clearly
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience working in financial services asset management or a data-intensive environment
  • Familiarity with SQL or other data querying tools is a plus
  • Experience in KPI development and performance measurement frameworks
