About the Role:
The World Bank Group is seeking Business Analysts and Product Owners to support a major upgrade of its procurement platform within the STEP (Systematic Tracking of Exchanges in Procurement) program. The initiative consists of multiple Agile delivery pods and resources will be assigned based on project priorities and team needs.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in Agile product environments strong business analysis and product ownership capabilities and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Prior World Bank experience is highly preferred as the project operates on an aggressive timeline and requires candidates who can quickly integrate into the environment.
Responsibilities:
- Gather analyze and document business requirements for procurement platform enhancements
- Work closely with business stakeholders product teams and development teams to define solutions
- Create and manage user stories acceptance criteria and backlog items
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning backlog grooming standups reviews and retrospectives
- Support product roadmap planning and prioritization activities
- Collaborate with multiple Agile pods to deliver procurement system upgrades and enhancements
- Utilize Azure DevOps for backlog management sprint tracking and delivery oversight
- Facilitate communication between business users product teams and technical teams
- Support UAT planning testing coordination defect management and release readiness activities
- Ensure requirements are aligned with business objectives and program goals
- Identify process improvements and support continuous delivery initiatives
- Assist in change management stakeholder engagement and adoption activities where required
Required Skills:
- 6 years of Business Analysis and/or Product Ownership experience
- Strong Agile and Scrum delivery experience
- Azure DevOps experience
- User Story Creation and Acceptance Criteria Development
- Backlog Management and Prioritization
- Requirements Gathering and Documentation
- Stakeholder Management and Cross-Functional Collaboration
- UAT Support and Defect Management
- Process Mapping and Business Process Analysis
- Strong communication facilitation and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced delivery environments
Other:
- Previous World Bank Group experience (Must)
