Business Analyst IT Specialist Compliance & Regulatory Technology

Location: NYC (Hybrid at least 3 days onsite/week)

We are seeking a talented  IT Business Analyst to support our clients Compliance Department on a strategic regulatory technology implementation initiative. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering compliance risk or regulatory change projects within financial services with strong expertise in business analysis process mapping testing and stakeholder management across business technology and third-party vendor teams.

Role and responsibilities

• Partner with Compliance IT and business stakeholders to gather document and analyze business functional and technical requirements.
• Support the implementation of a regulatory technology (RegTech) solution including configuration integration testing deployment and post-go-live activities.
• Conduct gap analyses and map current-state and future-state processes to improve regulatory and compliance workflows.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) including test case creation execution defect tracking and validation of delivered solutions.
• Support data migration and integration activities including data mapping validation and reconciliation with internal systems.
• Collaborate with internal governance teams Head Office stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely delivery and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications :

• 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst within financial services.
• Strong experience with requirements gathering process mapping and business process improvement.
• Hands-on experience supporting SaaS or enterprise software implementation projects.
• Experience coordinating UAT activities and managing testing deliverables.
• Familiarity with data integration data migration user access management and software delivery lifecycles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in regulated environments with governance risk and compliance requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Compliance GRC RegTech or Regulatory Reporting platforms.
• Understanding of regulatory inventory obligation management and compliance risk management processes.
• Experience supporting API and system integration projects.
• Fluency in French is a plus.
