Job Summary

OverviewUnder general supervision provides business analysis requirements definition and software testing support to the corporate user base. Works closely with ITS personnel and business users in the development and implementation of information technology initiatives that support the strategic objectives of the Corporation. Assists the business users by analyzing business needs developing detailed requirements and validating solutions. Provides an effective liaison between the business departments and other ITS personnel or external vendors providing software Areas of AccountabilityComposes user stories and acceptance criteria for Devops user story user story maps for current state and future state processes for feature level in the evaluation of business objectives that require new systems or enhancements to existing analytical support to business users and other ITS personnel to both determine specific problem areas and identify possible with Senior Business Analysts Manager and other ITS personnel and/or users to discuss work processes and plans and/or actions to be a structured process for the design development testing and deployment of all corporate closely with software developers in design and architectural elements to meet user and documents test procedures and/or test scripts for new systems or changes to existing and assists in the development of training requirements for the delivery of all system projects to include train the trainer requirements and the necessary training professional development through attendance at training sessions and professional seminars to incorporate recent technical developments into work unit and studies instructional and informational material to enhance/increase knowledgebase of systems and procedures within the work to learn adapt and implement new AIassisted analysis and documentation tools to accelerate requirements gathering clarify business needs and improve the quality and consistency of user stories acceptance criteria test plans and process AIgenerated outputs for accuracy and alignment with business rules ensuring that insights requirements and proposed solutions produced with AI support are validated and fit for the other related duties of a comparable level/type as StyleStrong character Alignment with company values mission and visionMust have a demonstrated customer focusTrustworthy and honest DecisiveCurious and persistentPassion for innovation Willingness to learnAdaptive to changing (tolerance for ambiguity)Desire to collaborate to achieve corporate goalsMust be able to handle complex tasks of a technical natureMust possess the ability to analyze problems and assist in determining the best business solution while utilizing technology to the fullestMust be able to understand the implication of system changes to business practicesStrong communicator Excellent oral written interpersonal and organizational skillsMust be able to plan and facilitate meetings and training sessions for sizable groupsMust possess demonstrated leadership qualitiesEmpathetic listener and open-mindedCommitment to accountabilityEducation and ExperienceEducation RequiredA Baccalaureate degree or CPCU preferredCBAP (Certified Business Analyst Professional) designation preferredExperience RequiredExperience in the utilization of Agile Methodology preferred5 years of workers comp experience in a core area (PHS; Claims; Finance) preferredA minimum of 2 years experience in reviewing and understanding technical writing as it relates to user stories system documentation training documentation procedures participation on formalized project teams at LWCC preferred
