This role involves supporting a major healthcare organization in transitioning their legacy systems into modern Medicaid-aligned solutions. The position requires a highly skilled communicator capable of translating complex business processes into clear actionable technical requirements and working across multiple teams to ensure a smooth migration process.
Position Overview for the Business Analyst:
- Provide business and systems analysis in support of an IT modernization project focused on system migration and retirement.
- Serve as a bridge between stakeholders and technical teams to elicit document and validate requirements.
- Develop business process flow diagrams visuals and detailed documentation for system replacement efforts.
- Support impact and gap analysis to ensure all critical dependencies are identified and addressed.
- Facilitate collaboration across business application data reporting security and infrastructure teams to ensure project success.
Requirements for the Business Analyst:
- 8 years of experience in reviewing analyzing and evaluating business systems and user needs.
- 8 years of experience eliciting documenting validating and managing business functional technical data reporting and interface requirements.
- 8 years of experience developing requirements traceability from business needs through design testing and implementation.
- 8 years of experience conducting current and future state process analysis gap analysis and dependency analysis.
- 8 years of experience supporting complex IT projects involving multiple stakeholders dependencies and risks.
