POSITION: Bus Driver

EFFECTIVE: 2026-2027 School year

SPECIFICS:

• Bus Driver position following the A.F.S.C.M.E. Master Agreement
• Reports to: Transportation Supervisor
• 0.5 FTE - Morning and afternoon Routes only

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must possess a High School Diploma or G.E.D. certificate
• Must pass pre-employment background checks and annual physical exam without restrictions per Michigan transportation rules andregulations and Federally mandated random drug and alcohol testing per district policy
• Must possess a valid Michigan drivers license prefer applicant to have a current CDL-BPS Certification however willing to train
• High level of competence in English language skills
• Ability to work and maintain good rapport with co-workers and the community
• Self-motivated and ability to work independently
• Possess a good attendance record
• Must have an acceptable driving record
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as may be found appropriate and acceptable

RESPONSIBLILITIES:

• Transportation of students in a safe and timely manner to and from school or other related events or activities
• Other duties as may be assigned
