    QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
    2. Must pass a background clearance
    3. Must obtain an Arizona IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
    4. Must have an excellent attendance record.
    5. Must have or be willing to obtain First Aid and CPR Certification.


    TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:180Days; 9 Months; Part-time & Full-time
    COMPENSATION:Per QCUSD salary schedule for applicable position
    BENEFITS: As per QCUSD District policy
    REPORTS TO:Director ofTransportation
    HOURS:35 hrs Monday -Friday 5:30 am - 9:00 am and 12:30 pm -4:00 pm
    CLASSIFICATION: Hourly Non-exempt

    PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Responsibilities shall include but not be limited to the following:

    1. Provide assistance to school bus driver in maintaining order and discipline for special needs students riding on District vehicles.
    2. Be able to tie-down wheelchairs and use other special needs restraints.
    3. Safeguard all supplies and equipment.
    4. Help prepare and clean special needs vehicles.
    5. Communicate with Director of Transportation vehicle drivers and District staff in a professional manner.
    6. Provide departmental reports as requested.
    7. Complete written reports and discuss with Director of Transportation all accidents vehicle damage and student injury situations.
    8. Be willing to work split shifts as determined by the Director of Transportation.
    9. Attend mandatory department meetings.
    10. Maintain confidentiality of information about staff and students.
    11. Perform other job-related duties as assigned to advance district priorities.
