Bulldog Club Assistant

Position Overview

The Bulldog Club is an important part of supporting Butler University Athletics by engaging and recognizing our generous donors and fans. We are seeking dependable professional and enthusiastic part time employees to assist with hospitality operations during home football and mens basketball games.

Hospitality attendants help create a welcoming experience for Bulldog Club members by assisting with check-in verifying access distributing wristbands and supporting hospitality spaces before and during games.

Schedule

• Shifts are typically 35 hours in length
• Student employees may select the games they are available to work
• Opportunities are available for all home football and mens basketball games
  

Job Responsibilities

Football Hospitality:

Locations: Terrace Tent Sellick Room Cabanas (select games) Student Athlete Alumni Tent (NEW)

• Welcome Bulldog Club members as they arrive at hospitality locations.
• Scan tickets and verify guest access to the hospitality area.
• Provide wristbands to guests who have confirmed access.
• Ensure all guests have completed check-in before entering the hospitality space.
• Assist guests with questions or concerns; direct ticket-related issues to Katie Suder.
• Provide a friendly and professional experience for Bulldog Club donors and guests.
  

Mens Basketball Hospitality

Locations: Efroymson Family Gym (EFG) & Wildman Room (WR)

• Welcome Bulldog Club members as they arrive at hospitality entrances.
• Scan mobile or printed tickets using the Ticketmaster scanner.
• Provide wristbands to guests after successful ticket verification.
• Ensure all guests entering the EFG or WR have completed the check-in process.
• Politely assist guests who may have bypassed the scanning process and direct them to the appropriate check-in area.
• Refer ticket concerns or guest issues to the lead Bulldog Club staff member at the assigned hospitality location.
  

EFG Soda Station Support

• Prepare the soda station 510 minutes before hospitality opens:
  • Set out cups (approximately five cups per beverage option).
  • Fill the table bowl with ice for beverage service.
  • Prepare drinks for guests.
• Monitor and restock beverages throughout the event especially during pregame and halftime periods.
• Help maintain a clean organized and welcoming hospitality area.
  

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends based on home football and mens basketball schedules.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with donors guests staff and community members.
• Ability to follow established procedures and directions.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods during assigned shifts.
