Building Substitute (full-time)

An independent school for girls in grades 6-12 guided by the teachings of the Catholic Church Montrose School was founded in 1979 and is located in the welcoming community of Medfield 17 miles southwest of Boston. Montrose School attracts a talented and growing student population from over 50 towns and communities. The students and their families as well as the faculty and staff are noted for their commitment to the schoolsmission educating young women who are called to greatness.

Montrose School seeks a full-time Building Substitute to join our Academic Team. This role supervises students (hall duty study halls lunches etc.) and serves as the on-call substitute teacher stepping into classrooms as needed. This role also provides additional office support for the Academic Office and Front Desk/Registrar as needed.

This is an hourly position. The wage range for this position is $23-$25/hour.

A Bachelors degree is required. Strong applicants will have a good working knowledge of adolescent development and educational best practices strong computer skills (Zoom Google Suite) sound judgment and discretion and the ability to work independently under pressure while fostering a positive focused student culture.
