Job description:This building substitute position is an ideal position for new teachers looking to develop their skills. After one year building substitutes would be given first consideration for open teaching ManagementCreate a positive educational climate for studentsImplement a positive behavior reward systemFollow all PPA policies to help ensure uniformity of the programProfessional DevelopmentObserve and collaborate with other teachers in the building multiple times throughout the year to for mutual growth/development in accordance with the peer observation programAttend professional development opportunities throughout the school year or summer for your continuous improvementReflect and evaluate lessons/policies/practices oftenAdditional ItemsBuild a relationship with students and parents so that they know you want only the best for the studentMaintain a strong collaborative relationship with teachers instructional support staff supportive of the PPA team at all times but especially when speaking to parents and studentsPatriot Preparatory Academy began in 2010 as a K-12 public charter school.
