Position Summary

EXP is seeking a Building Performance Specialist to support facility assessment energy sustainability resiliency and capital planning projects. The ideal candidate will evaluate building systems conduct site assessments analyze performance data and develop practical recommendations to improve facility efficiency reliability and long-term performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct facility and building system assessments.
• Perform energy audits utility analysis and benchmarking.
• Evaluate HVAC electrical plumbing and building envelope systems.
• Identify opportunities for energy water sustainability and resiliency improvements.
• Support capital planning asset management and infrastructure studies.
• Prepare technical reports findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Building Science Architecture Sustainability or related field.
• Experience with building systems facility assessments energy audits commissioning or sustainability projects.
• Knowledge of HVAC electrical plumbing and building envelope systems.
• Strong analytical communication and technical writing skills.

Preferred

• PE EIT CEM CEA BEAP LEED AP or similar credentials.
• Experience with facility condition assessments energy studies resiliency planning or capital improvement programs.
