Building Maintenance Technician Charleston

The Enterprise brand of Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opportunity for a Building Maintenance Technician. The Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for the general maintenance and repair of building assets. This position is also responsible for basic maintenance and organization to ensure that facilities and equipment are in good condition at all times for customers and employees.

The starting rate of pay is $22 / hr based on a 40 hour work week.

This position will be based in Charleston and include extensive travel with a company car within the defined territories: Charleston Myrtle Beach and Pee Dee Region. During working hours tools and a work vehicle will be supplied.

Schedule: Monday - Friday: 7:30am-6:00pm with occasionalevening and/or weekend projects

The position will work the the Property Development Department to improve the appearance and safety of all our locations through regular repairs preventative maintenance cleaning and assisting with branch renovations. This position may require work in painting carpentry plumbing HVAC electrical telecommunications data and phone wiring signs and lighting or other maintenance tasks as assigned. The individual will be expected to perform all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance to our Quality Standards.

TheBuildingMaintenance Technician will be responsible for a wide variety of general building maintenance repairs and services including but not limited to:

• Routine general maintenance and repair work such as light electrical plumbing painting carpet/floor cleaning and snow and ice removal
• Timely completion of work orders generated by call-in requests or preventive maintenance schedule
• Perform duties of the companys preventative maintenance program
• Troubleshoot general problems
• Move items as needed (i.e. furniture file cabinets boxes artwork etc.)
• Delivery of office and building supplies
• Small appliance and equipment installation (pressure washers air compressors etc)
• Workingoutside in all types of weather and temperatures and in a typical office environment
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment skill development training and goal setting
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

• One year or more of hands-on general building maintenance experience/facilities maintenance OR experience in the installation maintenance troubleshooting and repair of building mechanical systems plumbing HVAC and electrical systems
• Experience with installation maintenance troubleshooting and repair of building mechanical systems including HVAC plumbing and electrical systems is preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must have a current and valid drivers license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years
• No drug or alcohol relatedconvictions on driving record in the past 5 years
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have HS Diploma/GED.
