What Youll Do
  • Maintain and repair HVAC electrical plumbing refrigeration and mechanical building systems.

  • Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.

  • Troubleshoot and repair pumps motors boilers heat exchangers air compressors piping systems generators and backup power equipment.

  • Monitor critical building systems and respond quickly to operational issues.

  • Complete work orders maintain maintenance logs and communicate equipment status with the engineering team.

  • Assist with general building maintenance including painting carpentry and minor repairs while following infection control procedures.

  • Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment while following OSHA and safety regulations.

What Were Looking For
  • Healthcare facility maintenance experience is preferred but candidates from hospitality commercial buildings manufacturing or plant operations are encouraged to apply.

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical HVAC/refrigeration or emergency backup power systems.

  • Working knowledge of plumbing electrical controls HVAC equipment pumps valves piping and mechanical systems.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with a team-first attitude.

  • Comfortable using computers and maintenance management systems.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Trade school education or college coursework in a related field preferred.

  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and local building codes.

  • Experience using hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Physical Requirements
  • Frequently walk stairs and perform facility inspections.

  • Climb ladders up to 40 feet.

  • Lift up to 60 pounds on a regular basis.

  • Work in mechanical spaces and confined areas as needed including kneeling and crouching for equipment inspections.
