SFE Engineering is looking for a motivated Building Inspector and Engineer to join our team in Flushing. This full-time on-site position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals at the entry level to start their career in the Architecture and Planning industry.

As a Building Inspector and Engineer you will play a vital role in ensuring that our construction projects comply with all local building codes and regulations. You will work closely with project managers and other engineering personnel to review plans conduct inspections and provide guidance on building practices. Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections of building projects for compliance with architectural plans and safety codes.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of inspections and findings.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to review design specifications.

• Identify and address potential compliance issues during construction.
• Provide recommendations for improvements based on inspection results.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Architecture or a related field.
