Job Summary
The Building Construction Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout. The role oversees project schedules budgets subcontractors client relationships safety compliance and quality standards while coordinating with project teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage construction projects from planning through completion.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for owners architects and engineers.
- Collaborate with superintendents and field teams to achieve project goals.
- Develop maintain and monitor project schedules and critical path activities.
- Manage project budgets cost controls subcontractor agreements and change orders.
- Ensure compliance with contract documents specifications and company standards.
- Promote and enforce jobsite safety and regulatory compliance.
- Implement Lean construction practices to improve project efficiency.
- Coordinate project teams and maintain strong client relationships.
- Monitor project quality progress and successful project delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management or a related field.
- 57 years of experience managing building construction projects.
- Experience leading projects valued between $15M$30M.
- Strong knowledge of construction drawings specifications contract documents construction methods and cost control.
- Ability to coordinate project teams and maintain strong client relationships.
- Experience with Lean construction practices.
- Strong leadership communication organizational and problem-solving skills.
