Building Automation Engineer, Maintenance (Full Time)

Responsible for designing programing installing and maintaining computerized systems for HVAC lighting and security to optimize building performance improve energy efficiency and enhance occupant control systems manage network connectivity troubleshoot/install and calibrate field devices and ensure compliance with safety routine inspections and preventative maintenance. Collaborate with contractors vendors and facility staff to implement upgrades and new technology. Provides education and training to Facilities Engineering team members on the installation and operations of automated systems controls equipment and computerized controls functions.

Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines to be accurate and to handle constantly changing situations. Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people deal with stressful situations and handle conflict.

Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned. Will follow and adhere to all requirements regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Must comply with all Benefis Health Systems organization policies and procedures

Education/License/Experience Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in building automation or HVAC controls.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. CEM - Certified Energy Manager LEED) are highly valued.
• Experience with programming and graphics software for platforms including Johnson Controls Honeywell Delta and Schneider.
• Proficient in HVAC systems Low Voltage electrical circuits and building automation protocols(BACnet Modbus LonWorks)
