Budtender Vibe by California San Jose

Vibe by California is looking for a full-time Budtender to join our San Jose dispensary team. Youll be the face of Vibe on the sales floor welcoming customers helping them find the right products and making every visit easy informed and compliant.

What youll do

• Greet customers verify age and ID at check-in and deliver friendly knowledgeable service
• Guide customers through flower pre-rolls vapes edibles concentrates and topicals based on their needs and experience level
• Process sales accurately in the POS system and handle cash responsibly
• Follow all California (DCC) and City of San Jose cannabis regulations including purchase limits and track-and-trace requirements
• Keep the sales floor displays and menus clean stocked and up to date
• Stay current on products brands and promotions
• Support opening and closing procedures and inventory counts

Pay: $22.00 $24.00 per hour depending on experience

Schedule: Full-time; availability for days evenings weekends and holidays required

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid government-issued photo ID
• Able to pass a background check and complete any required City of San Jose cannabis employee registration (conducted after a conditional offer in line with the California Fair Chance Act)
• Retail customer service or cash-handling experience preferred; dispensary experience a plus
• Genuine interest in cannabis and a willingness to keep learning
• Strong communication skills and a positive team-first attitude
• Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 lbs

• Competitive hourly pay ($22 $24/hr)
