Job Summary
Social Work p.r.n. has an immediate opportunity for BSWs interested in working with pre-school age children as a Classroom Support for early education programs in KCMO on a temporary part-time or full-time basis until the end of the fall semester. Ideal hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with some flexibility with scheduling.
Work responsibilities include:
One on One direct support for 1 or 2 children with diagnosed disabilities needing support while in classrooms/programs.
Consultation with mental health consultants and participation in ongoing revisions of behavior modification plans.
Communication with teaching staff and other program staff about the intervention plan to provide updates and feedback.
Participation in individualized family conferences as needed.
