Job SummaryA Bru Bar Barista is responsible for promoting coffee consumption by educating customers and preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks along with pastries and other baked goods. The Bru Bar also serves a variety of beer wine and liquor. Position anticipated to start late April or early Duties and ResponsibilitiesWelcome customers and determine their food and drink interests and customers by presenting and explaining the drink menu and answering and sell coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques such as espresso caffe latte and revenue by attracting new customers and offering additional inventories of coffee bean supply coffee brewing equipment pastries and other food items and other equipment operating by following operating instructions troubleshooting breakdowns performing preventive maintenance and reporting needed a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation quality results by studying evaluating and re-designing processes implementing changes and maintaining and improving the appearance of the coffee duties as SpecificationsCompetencies:Clear and concise verbal communication -directed and able to maximize use of time resources and and meets professional conduct and adherence to company Core ValuesEducation:High School diploma or equivalent & Other Requirements:While performing the duties of this Job the employee is regularly required to stand walk and talk or employee is frequently required to use hands to finger handle or feel and reach with hands and employee is occasionally required to taste or employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds frequently lift and/or move up to 10 vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust weekends and holidays are a regular part of the have excellent attendance and conduct record for -smoking candidates preferred.
