As a Branch Manager with American Pest youll be a leader who responsible for much more than hitting numbers. Youre responsible for building a culture developing people creating an outstanding customer experience and ensuring your branch operates safely efficiently and profitably.
Youll spend your time coaching employees making operational decisions helping solve customer issues reviewing performance supporting growth and working with your team to continually improve. What Youll Do... As a Branch Manager at American Pest youll lead every aspect of your branchs success. Youll own your regions Profit & Loss (P&L) performance while building developing and coaching a team committed to delivering outstanding customer service and exceptional pest management solutions. No two days are exactly alike. You might spend your morning reviewing branch performance coaching a manager or technician and interviewing potential new hires before meeting with a high-profile customer solving an operational challenge and planning for your branchs future growth in the afternoon. As a member of our Leadership Team youll help shape business strategy drive continuous improvement and play a direct role in our mission to remain the preferred pest control provider throughout the Mid-Atlantic.

Who You Are... So what does it take to be a successful Branch Manager with American Pest For starters youll have a minimum of 3 years in the pest control industry. Youll also have...
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience
- Firm understanding of customer service and de-escalation
- Ability to hold team accountable - daily check-ins goal setting performance management etc.
- Sales Leadership ability with a history of revenue generation and growth
- Exceptional Operational leadership skills
- Experience successfully managing a P&L statement preferred
- The proven ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Experience with interviewing and hiring with an eye for selection & retention
- Outstanding leadership and people development skills with a focus on training
- Exemplary oral and written communication skills
- Ability to safely move about customer locations ascend/descend stairs and ladders to service out of the way areas and position self to conduct service under/around furniture equipment and tight spaces
- Ability to safely move items and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in all regular seasonal weather conditions
- Technical proficiency with computers smart phones etc.
- Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
- A valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record
- The ability to read write speak and comprehend English
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Availability to work non-standard business hours including weekends and holidays
- High school degree or equivalent
