Pay Information: Full-Time Exempt Role

• Pay Range: $65000 annually - $80000 annually
• Discretionary Year End Bonus
• Relocation Assistance will be provided

Tacoma Screw Products is a distribution company that sells industrial supplies fasteners and tools to contractors small and large businesses and individual retail customers since 1946.
We have a unique blend of Wholesale and Retail Customers. Because of this are not open during the typical Retail Hours. We are closed on nights Sunday and Holidays.

Were looking for someone who understands our business and our customers leads by example communicates well and is excited about the opportunity to build something new.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Plans and prepares work schedules and assigns employees to specific duties using good work flow management.
• Trains new staff on computer using SX.e
• Maintains superior store appearance -- organization cleanliness merchandising etc.
• Responsible for building maintenance.
• Reviews corrects and submits time clock information for payroll. Records and approves leave time for staff in the timekeeping system. Coordinates backup for absent staff.
• Supervises employees engaged in sales work taking of inventories reconciling cash with sales receipts keeping operating records or preparing daily record of transactions for Accounting or performs work of subordinates as needed.
• Responsible for tracking and maintaining proper inventory levels for the branch store.
• Ensures compliance of employees with established security sales and record-keeping procedures and practices.
• Responsible for employee compliance with companys seasonal dress code.
• Conducts performance evaluations for branch staff and documents performance issues.
• Actively and effectively promotes product knowledge improvement including application features and benefits of existing and new products.
• Answers customers complaints or inquiries.
• Ensures the store is locked and secure.

Required Skills/Experience

• Current Tacoma Screw Products Inc. Employee
• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 2 years of retail/counter sales experience in an industrial setting
• Solid math verbal and written communication skills
• Computer literacy
• Exceptional skills in sales customer service and time management
• Proven ability to lead a team

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Proficient with SX.e
• Previous experience with leading a team

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to move quickly to pull orders and wait on customers
• Must be able to stand & walk for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical demands of this job.
• Must be able to unload freight and stock shelves
• Ability to use hands to keyboard for customer orders and to look up inventory
• Must be able to answer the telephone and take customer orders
