Line Cook Wanted The Bradbury Cafe
The Bradbury Cafe is seeking a motivated enthusiastic and hospitality-driven Line Cook to join our culinary team in downtown Charlottesville. We pride ourselves on consistent attention to detail exceptional food and great service. If you want to work in a collaborative kitchen environment with excellent daytime hours we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Food Preparation: Assist in preparing a fresh scratch-made breakfast and lunch menu including frittatas brick oven pizzas and artisan sandwiches.
- Station Management: Maintain proficiency in cooking techniques handle knife work skillfully and follow house recipes accurately.
- Kitchen Sanitation: Keep your station clean safe and fully aligned with food health regulations and kitchen sanitation standards.
- Team Collaboration: Foster a positive climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers.
- Guest Experience: Bring energy and passion to ensure guests have exceptional culinary experiences.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Schedule: Consistent availability Monday through Sunday 7:00 AM 3:00 PM.
- Punctuality: Highly reliable and committed to showing up on time daily.
- Experience: Basic understanding of kitchen operations cooking techniques and safety standards.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and safely lift up to 40 pounds.
- Key Traits: Organized detail-oriented energetic and a natural problem solver with an innate desire to help others.
