Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Veterinary Medical Director to provide clinical leadership for a specialty and emergency hospital. This hands-on leadership role combines advanced clinical practice with protected administrative time focusing on medical excellence team development and hospital growth.

Key Responsibilities

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary: $180000$275000 based on specialty experience and production
  • Additional Medical Director stipend

Qualifications
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree
  • Board certification in a veterinary specialty (such as emergency internal medicine surgery or a related specialty) strongly preferred
  • Eligible for veterinary licensure in the practicing state
  • Previous leadership experience or a strong interest in clinical leadership
