Job Summary

Ad Astra Behavior Analytic Services is looking for a passionate and committed Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to become part of our growing team. At Ad Astra we equip our team with the resources necessary for success including a company-provided laptop and cell phone. Full-time employees are eligible for medical dental and vision coverage. This role involves local travel to oversee client services and maintain high standards of treatment integrity.

In this position the BCBA will develop and supervise individualized behavior support plans mentor and guide behavior technicians complete assessments and collaborate closely with families and interdisciplinary professionals to promote meaningful client outcomes. Responsibilities also include facilitating staff trainings evaluating team performance and helping strengthen a collaborative and positive work environment. Attendance at IEP and IFSP meetings may be required to support client advocacy and coordination of services.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree and current BCBA certification (required)
  • Strong leadership communication and organizational skills
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
  • Spanish speaking is valued but not required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Physical and Cognitive Requirements:

  • Frequently sit stand walk bend kneel crouch reach and transition between floor-level and standing positions throughout the workday.
  • Actively participate in developmentally appropriate client activities including floor-based activities movement-based activities transitions and safety monitoring.
  • Safely navigate assigned work environments including homes clinics schools community settings and remote/telehealth settings as applicable.
  • Occasionally lift carry push pull or move therapy materials and equipment typically up to 50 pounds.
  • Sit for extended periods while providing telehealth services or completing computer-based work as needed.
  • Use hands and fingers to operate computers keyboards mobile devices and other equipment requiring fine motor coordination.
  • Maintain visual and auditory awareness to observe client behavior monitor safety and communicate effectively in both in-person and virtual settings.
  • Read understand retain and apply written and verbal information.
  • Maintain attention concentration situational awareness and sound judgment in dynamic environments.
  • Collect record and submit accurate client data and session documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Maintain professionalism and emotional resilience when addressing sensitive client or employee matters complaints and workplace concerns.
