Position Overview:
We are seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dedicated team in Hayward Union City and Livermore CA. As a BCBA at Ascend you will develop implement and oversee evidence-based behavior intervention plans for children and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support their development and success. This is a full-time in-person role with competitive pay ranging from $80000 to $95000 per year based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and skill assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Train parents and caregivers to implement effective behavior management strategies.
• Monitor and analyze data to ensure treatment plans are effective making adjustments as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including speech therapists occupational therapists early interventionist/ infant development specialists and educators to ensure comprehensive care.
• Support a positive and inclusive learning environment for children and staff.
• Maintain compliance with ethical and professional standards as outlined by the BACB.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification (required).
• Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis Psychology Education or a related field (required).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role working with children with developmental or behavioral challenges.
• Strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
• Passion for working collaboratively to create positive outcomes for children and families.
