The BMT/Leukemia Resource Coordinator assists with development management and coordination of patient care activities within the Bone Marrow Transplant and Leukemia Programs. Responsible for collaborating with physicians and members of the interdisciplinary team to coordinate and manage consistent patient care by assuming the roles of educator resource person researcher and indirect patient care provider. Works with adolescent geriatric and adult patients.
REQUIRED:
- Bachelors Degree from accredited college or university and two (2) years experience in health care/health care clinic operations.
- Demonstrated analytical skills; ability to understand analyze and interpret statistical clinical and business information.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated interpersonal organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in database spreadsheet and wordprocessing software utilization.
- Knowledge of health care and insurance related regulations/procedures.
