Job Summary
Scheduled Hours: Sunday-Thursday (10pm-6am)
Job Profile: Ceramic Blender- Level 1
Position Summary:
Produce blocks for ceramic cores using ovens to fire blocks.
Essential Functions:
- Manufacture blocks in accordance to Process Engineering Procedures
- Produce quantities within set standards of each FR
- Maintain accurate records (Formulation and S.P.C. Charts etc)
- Palletize blocks for shipment set up and put away blocks
- Maintain shop floor/burn table and racks
- Employees will handle hazardous (flammable) waste in accordance with procedure
- Must follow and adhere to all safety procedures
- Maintain department standards for housekeeping/6S
- Other duties as assigned by supervision
Required Skills:
- Ability to lift 35 pounds
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
- Ability to perform in a self-directed environment with little supervision is essential
- Ability to follow instructions and interpret procedures
