Intermediate District 287 is looking for a qualifiedBlind or Visually Impaired (BVI) teacher foropenings this summer withItinerant Programs!

Intermediate District 287 serves students in grades K-12 as well as transition age students (18-22 years old) from our 12 member districts in the west metro area. Our district offers a wide range of services and specialized programs primarily focused on setting IV special education that is designed to meet the diverse needs of our students. Position Details:

Local 2209 Salary Schedule A: $37.53 - $69.19 per hour (depending on experience and education)
This is a temporary position for Summer ESY programs only
Hours will follow a flexible calendar based on individual student and district needs from June through August

Requirements:

• Interested in candidates who are: diverse bilingual or have experience working with diverse populations.
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
• Current teaching license inBlind and Visually Impaired (BVI) OR a valid license in another subject area & willing to get an Out of Field license

Interview Process:

• Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
