Blending Operator I Sunday - ThursdayPosition Overview
This position is Sunday- Thursday 11pm-7am.
Responsibilities: Transport bales of fiber using a squeeze lift make partial bales according to a recipe and load bales onto a conveyor. Remove chokes from carding willows bearings piping belts chains valves bin emptiers aprons fans and hump magnets. Ensure correct shop orders and blends are being fed to the line for processing. Assist card operators in changeovers. Operate computerized blend valve system. Assist technicians and mechanics in performing maintenance and minor repairs as needed. Clean equipment as many times per shift as needed. Drive a lift truck as many times per shift as needed. Adhere to normal work schedule and work overtime as required.
