TMD Staffing is looking to hire Blaster/Industrial Painter in Conroe 77303 area!

WORK ENVIRONMENT

In-Person Shop/Warehouse

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sandblast prep and paint equipment
• Painting applications duties include but are not limited to:
  - Preparation of paint equipment and paint.
  - Preparation of equipment surfaces to be painted by means of sandblasting hand sanding and taping pneumatic hand operated sanders or grinding apparatus.
  - Movement of material and equipment to staging areas as needed using an overhead crane.
  - Apply primer and paint per specs
• Must be willing to cross-train into other areas as required to meet production schedules and or manufacturing needs.
• Capable of operating an overhead crane.
• Must be willing to work in an on-the-job-training status for the first two to three weeks of employment.
• Must be able to work and stay on your feet for more than 8 hours daily and on weekends as required.
• Must be able to work in a non-controlled climate - i.e. no air conditioning in the plant.
• All employees are required to assist in plant housekeeping. Including but not limited to - sweeping emptying trash barrels proper storage of chemicals etc.
• Must follow all safety and environmental policies and programs; must be able to use personal safety devices as required by company policy; report any activities that could be detrimental to safety and/or the loss of productivity; report any injuries when they occur.

• HIGH ATTENTION TO DETAIL
• RELIABLE/DEPENDABLE
• PREVIOUS SANDBLAST EXPERIENCE (MUST BE SHOWN ON RESUME)
• PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE USING 2-PART EPOXY PAINT (MUST BE SHOWN ON RESUME)
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Pass drug screen criminal background and e-verify check
• Have HS diploma or GED

PAY

$18-18.50/hour DOE

SCHEDULE

6am-6pm Mon-Fri work 8 hours on Saturdays
