Job Description:

The Tech III will be responsible for assigned duties that promote the safety and well-being of all patients visitors and staff by maintaining the operational condition maintenance and repair of clinical addition this individual will document repairs and perform safety checks and preventive measures. This position will be eligible for the on-call : Required: Associates Degree in a related field OR completion of Military Biomedical training program OR an Associates Degree or higher in an unrelated field and CBET certification OR 7 years Biomed equipment maintenance experience. Required: Completion of seven manufacturer-level seminars. Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Electronics Technology or Biomedical TechnologyExperience: Required: Five years Biomed experienceSkills: Use of common hand tools. Use of PC and data entry skills. Use of test equipment. Knowledge of electronic theory and safety procedures. Ability to utilize manufacturers service and operators manuals and other documentation Ability to analyze troubleshoot and repair basic electronic and electromechanical equipment. Self-directed strong attention to detail. Strong problem-solving skills. Strong ability to reason logically and critically. Ability to maintain confidentiality with the highest degree of integrity and discretion. Strong organizational skills including effective time management and ability to set/reset priorities accordingly and handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
