Key Responsibilities:

• Resolve claim denials rejections and billing errors.
• Submit corrected claims and follow up with payers.
• Call payers for claim status denial details and payment issues.
• Assist with appeals including documentation and follow-up.
• Post payments adjustments and approved write-offs.
• Review remits/EOBs and research payment issues.
• Maintain accounts and update billing records.
• Verify insurance eligibility and coverage.

Minimum Education & Experience Required:

• Associates Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in medical billing.
• Preferred experience in home health or hospice billing with a strong understanding of Medicare billing processes.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
