Job Summary

NREIG is seeking a dynamic organized people-friendly and detail-oriented Billing Manager to join our growing team. The Billing Manager is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of a billing team performing premium statement billing reconciling and posting payments and leading the team to ensure that established deadlines are achieved.
Essential Functions
  • Act as the primary information source for team maintaining/implementing appropriate audit measures and consistency and taking corrective action when needed.
  • Ensuring their team meets deadlines.
  • Assists in the onboarding and training of team members. Trains as system enhancements are developed and ensures procedures are followed.
  • Responsible for documentation and updates of workflows and SOPs.
  • Successful achievement of team quality production and service expectations staff development successful implementation of new clients and retention of existing clients.
  • Answering complex or difficult questions advising team members regarding processes and procedures and providing support to ensure all department goals are met.
  • Support and encourage team members and promote a positive work environment with Management and other departments as needed to resolve escalated issues.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in accounting or finance preferred equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years billing or accounting experience.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience.
  • Experience in Microsoft office Suite (Excel Word Outlook).
  • Advanced Excel knowledge is a necessity.
  • Skilled in process improvements.
  • Data reconciliation skills and strong organizational/analytical skills required.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under deadline pressure is essential.
  • Able to multitask prioritize and manage time efficiently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; effective oral and written communications both internally and externally.
  • Flexibility and adaptability; energetic and self-driven.
