Job Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC isseeking an experienced Billing Clerk CWR to support physician billing and administrative operations within a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will possess prior billing and coding experience with strong attention to detail while handling patient billing records insurance verification coding review and payment follow-up processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Submit electronic and hardcopy medical bills accurately and timely
Verify billing accuracy coding information and patient insurance details
Follow up with insurance payers regarding claim status and payments
Coordinate and review patient medical records for physician billing services
Serve as a liaison for patients regarding billing inquiries charges and outstanding balances
Ensure timely receipt of referrals authorizations and required documentation
Assign and validate clinical codes for reimbursement and data collection purposes
Review clinical documentation and collaborate with physicians/providers to resolve coding or documentation discrepancies
Audit patient charts and organize reports to maintain compliance and accuracy
Review daily and monthly billing reports and analyze billing data
Maintain department logs records and filing systems
Sort and distribute department mail
Provide backup support for billing functions as needed
Deliver excellent customer service and maintain positive patient satisfaction standards
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of healthcare billing/coding experience required
High School Diploma or GED required
Strong understanding of medical billing coding insurance verification and reimbursement processes
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong computer and data entry skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to analyze reports and maintain accurate documentation
English proficiency required (Speak Read Write)
