BilingualESL Teacher

Qualifications:

• Must hold New Jersey Bilingual/ESL certificate withan instructional certificate in line with the content/grade 6-8 levelappropriate for the position held (Math and or ELA)
• Knowledge of the NJSLS WIDA ACCESS and NJSLA
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of child growth and development effective instructional strategies classroom management learning assessment and diagnosis and research related to learning and children needing to learn English as a second language.
• Ability to analyze and use data to drive instruction
• Experience working with students
• Excellent interpersonal skills integrity and good moral character
• Must be a critical thinker problem solver and respect others
• Must be computer literate and able to use interactive computer instructional software
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with staff students parents and the community
