Position Summary

Processes referrals and intake information. Performs duties in accordance with assigned responsibilities and organizational policies.

Core Responsibilities

Receive referrals

• Verify patient information
• Enter data accurately
• Communicate status
• Resolve missing info
• Route referrals
• Maintain records
• Track progress
• Support conversion
• Ensure timely processing

Compliance Responsibilities

• Follow company policies Medicare/Medicaid requirements and accreditation standards
• Complete required training competency assessments and ongoing education based on role responsibilities
• Ensure accuracy completeness and timeliness of documentation
• Report concerns errors or compliance issues through established channels without fear of retaliation
• Report patient/customer concerns or complaints and support resolution in accordance with company processes
• Participate in audits monitoring and performance improvement activities
• Support adherence to organizational policies and regulatory requirements in daily work

Minimum Qualifications

• Administrative experience preferred
• 1-2 years of customer service experience
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and HCPCS coding and medical terminology
• Ability to use required systems applications and technology to perform job responsibilities
• Meets and maintains qualifications required for the position
• Bilingual - English/Spanish
