Beverage Industry Sanitation Associate, 2nd shift

Sunny Sky Products prides itself on our commitment and dedication to creating manufacturing and delivering top quality products in the beverage industry. We have generated an extensive product portfolio that includes frozen dispensed beverages cold dispensed hot dispensed and beverage enhancers.

We are seeking a Sanitation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining sanitation standards and supporting production operations. This role requires attention to detail adherence to safety food safety and quality standards and the ability to perform physical tasks in a wet production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Follow GMPs and wear appropriate PPE for the work being conducted.
• Pull CIP rinse water samples from production lines which involve walking reaching stretching lifting bending and stooping.
• Perform ATP Swabs.
• Verify chemical dilutions.
• Conduct inventory control of chemicals and equipment.
• Complete work orders for equipment that is not functioning properly.
• Ability to properly demonstrate CIP and proper cleaning techniques.
• Ensure all CIP and sanitation verification paperwork is completed accurately on time and in full daily.
• Properly run CIP system on various pieces of equipment.
• Properly use COP tank for cleaning.
• Complete carbon backwash cleaning.
• Complete cleaning of blending tanks.
• Conduct daily operational checks and complete MSS paperwork.
• Attention to detail.
• Additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Display good communication skills (English and/or Spanish) and the ability to work as a team with co-workers and plant personnel.
• Be flexible and prioritize job responsibilities.
• Ability to read English or Spanish policies and procedures and adhere to them.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Participate in annual CIP and chemical handling training.
• Highschool Diploma or GED

Hours:

• Sunday 7am-3:30pm
• M-TH 4pm-12:30am (Sunday-Thursday)

$18.00 per hour
