Job Summary
Orchard Valley Golf Course located in Aurora IL is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Beverage Cart Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn contribute and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
- Maintains a professional appearance at all times.
- Drives the beverage cart to different areas on the golf course to service guests.
- Maintains a supply of all bar products and supplies including glassware expendable paper and other supplies.
- Stocks beverage carts to par levels each day of use.
- Ensures that all laws applicable to beverage operations are consistently followed.
- Operates Micros; handles cash room charges guest and member charges and credit card charges according to procedure.
- Learns the names of regulars and personally recognizes them.
- Monitors guest experience and takes appropriate action to ensure the best customer service.
- Inspects the bar prior to opening to ensure adequate supplies and inventory are available.
- Prepares garnishes mixes and pre-mixed drinks.
- Performs cleanup and closing duties as assigned.
- Communicates effectively with peers management line and front-of-house employees.
- Ensures that all guests are greeted in a timely friendly and professional manner.
- Assists in upkeep of the golf course as needed.
- Assists in food preparation and tends bar as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

- Must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law.
- Must have a friendly personality and enjoy working with the public.
- Must have strong customer service skills.
- Must be dependable.
- Working knowledge of beer wine and liquor and common drink recipes preferred.
- Ability to operate a computerized or electronic cash register system.
- Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.
- Knowledge of and ability to safely operate a motorized beverage cart using proper golf etiquette.
- One to two years of bartending experience.
- Valid drivers license required.
