Job Summary

Purpose: The Benefits Reporting Specialist ensures accurate insurance benefits reporting supports customers in navigating financial and insurance-related questions and contributes to process improvements through trend identification. This role involves extensive cross-team collaboration and direct interaction with Lingraphicas customers including but not limited to people with communication challenges care partners and Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs). 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Communicates insurance benefits for patients ensuring accuracy and clarity in trial requirements and financial considerations 

  • Assists patients and care partners in understanding their insurance coverage eligibility and available financial options guiding them through the process with expert-level knowledge 

  • Collects Out-of-Pocket Waivers and communicates financial assistance outcomes to relevant parties. 

  • Ensures clear and proactive communication by following up with patients caregivers and SLPs to confirm understanding and address outstanding questions 

  • Proactively identifies and addresses customer needs by offering timely and meaningful solutions  

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve processes shares insights and enhances the overall customer experience  

  • Collects analyzes and reports key metrics within the Funding Team to help identify trends and improve operational efficiency 

  • Maintains CRM accuracy and compliance ensuring all patient interactions benefits data and required documentation meet company and HIPAA standards 

  • Carries out responsibilities by following established department processes and procedures 

  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned 


Qualifications :

Skills Competencies and Experience: 

  • General knowledge of Medicare Medicaid and commercial insurance 
  • Ability to deliver a superior customer experience 
  • Ability to communicate effectively via email phone call and text 
  • Maintains a calm and professional demeanor when assisting customers 
  • Ability to identify and address the needs of customers; offer meaningful and timely information in response 
  • Proactively report trends and customer feedback and recommend/implement creative solutions 
  • Strong communication skills with both external customers and internal departments 
  • Workload flexibility open to change and the ability to prioritize tasks 
  • Ability to adjust to the needs of people with disabilities 

Education and Experience  

  • High School Diploma or GED required 
  • Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred  
  • Proficiency with HubSpot Office 365 Zoom preferred 
  • 1 year experience in healthcare related environment such as rehabilitation insurance or medical clinic preferred 

Additional Information :

Travel Requirements:

Travel (by air) to Lingraphicas home office and to cities within the continental United States for company related meetings and conferences are required 2 times per year.

Lingraphica and Pay Transparency  

At Lingraphica we are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The starting salary range for this position is $50000 and $55000 per year. Placement in the starting pay is based on factors such as experience skills education and internal equity.
