Reporting to the Compensation & Benefits Manager this role blends hands-on benefits administration leave coordination HRIS accuracy compliance support reporting and analytics.
This role is based primarily onsite at our headquarters in Mountville PA. It is not a remote position and candidates should be comfortable working in the office for the majority of the workweek.

WHAT YOULL DO:
In this role you will help strengthen the programs that support employees throughout their work and life experience including benefits leave wellness retirement and total rewards.
As the Benefits & People Programs Analyst you will:
- Help own and strengthen AHF Products benefits and leave programs by ensuring they are well-run competitive compliant employee-friendly and aligned with the needs of our people and business.
- Play an active role in building better people programs by identifying employee needs improving processes using data to spot trends and recommending enhancements that make benefits leave wellness retirement and total rewards programs easier to access and understand.
- Serve as a trusted benefits and leave resource for employees helping them navigate eligibility enrollment life events Open Enrollment disability FMLA and other leave of absence needs with clarity care and confidentiality.
- Support day-to-day benefits administration including enrollments changes terminations billing payroll deductions invoice reconciliation vendor file feeds and employee communications.
- Coordinate leave of absence programs with accuracy and compassion while helping employees and managers through the leave and return-to-work process.
- Improve the employee benefits experience by developing and maintaining clear communications forms procedures HRIS or website content training resources and process documentation.
- Support annual Open Enrollment and new hire benefits orientation including system updates plan set-up validation communication materials employee education and election support.
- Partner with HR payroll managers vendors brokers and benefits leadership to resolve routine sensitive and complex benefits or leave issues and deliver excellent service.
- Maintain and audit benefits leave and employee data in HRIS and vendor systems to keep information accurate across carriers payroll and internal records.
- Prepare reports audits compliance documentation and data analyses that support benefits leave compensation workforce planning and total rewards decisions.
- Monitor and analyze financial utilization participation and employee experience metrics for health and welfare retirement wellness and other people programs; translate findings into insights and recommendations for leadership.
- Support benefit Request for Proposals by preparing census files and required data evaluating program and vendor opportunities and assisting with new benefit plan or vendor implementations.
- Participate in annual compliance filing processes by gathering analyzing and submitting required data within deadlines including Annual Funding Notices Summary Annual Reports Summary of Benefits Coverage and Summary Plan Descriptions.
- Support benefit plan valuations nondiscrimination testing annual benchmarking and survey participation to help ensure programs remain competitive sustainable and compliant.
- Contribute to compensation-related analytics including market data analysis salary benchmarking job structure maintenance job description standardization and compensation planning activities.
- Assist with administration and auditing of retirement wellness tuition assistance voluntary benefit and other employee programs as assigned.
- Look for smarter ways to work by leveraging AI automation HR technology reporting tools and practical process improvements to improve accuracy efficiency and the employee experience.
- Handle sensitive employee and organizational information with professionalism discretion and confidentiality.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR:
- Bachelors degree in human resources Business Economics Statistics Analytics or a related field preferred; associates degree or equivalent work experience may be considered.
- 4 years of progressive experience in benefits administration leave of absence administration HR analytics compensation or a related Human Resources function.
- Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs and leave regulations including FMLA disability parental leave COBRA HIPAA health and welfare plans voluntary benefits and applicable federal state and local requirements.
- Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to work with large amounts of data identify issues research solutions and make sound recommendations.
- Experience maintaining HRIS benefits leave payroll or vendor systems; UKG experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel Word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written verbal interpersonal active listening and customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with employees and stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organizational time management and project management skills with the ability to prioritize meet deadlines manage changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail discretion professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively cross-train across related responsibilities and support continuous process improvement.
IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU ALSO HAVE:
- Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or related certification or progress toward certification.
- Experience supporting Open Enrollment benefits audits vendor integrations compensation surveys salary benchmarking or HR reporting.
- Strong initiative adaptability and commitment to lifelong learning and continuous improvement.
