Sigma HomeCare is hiring compassionate Direct Care Workers / Caregivers to support adults in Wayne County Michigan.

As a Direct Care Worker you will provide in-home and community-based support to adults receiving care services.

What Youll Do
As a Direct Care Worker you will provide in-home and community-based support to adults receiving care services.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with activities of daily living (bathing dressing grooming toileting mobility support)
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Supporting clients with behavioral health and developmental needs
- Transporting clients to appointments errands and community outings
- Documenting services accurately using a mobile app
- Communicating with the care team regarding updates or concerns
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid drivers license
- Reliable transportation
- Smartphone with internet access
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and reliably
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain through agency)
- Experience in caregiving home care direct support behavioral health or healthcare preferred
