Behavioral Health Counselor Opportunity:
- Must be comfortable treating children
- To be able to assess the clients need for Therapy
- Behavioral Health Counselor must be knowledgeable of community resources and programs and make appropriate referrals as required for both BH and SUD Services
- Maintain knowledge of community resources and programs and make appropriate referrals as required
- Coordinate all aspects of your clients treatment and provide ongoing counseling
Behavioral Health Counselor Qualifications:
- The Behavioral Health Counselor must possess a current and active license as an LCSW or MFT to practice counseling in the State of California or be a registered LCSW/MFCC intern with the California Board of Behavioral Science Examiners.
- Must be aware of the State and Federal regulations regarding confidentiality and release of Medical and Behavioral Health information.
- Must be aware of current reporting laws concerning sexual physical or emotional abuse of a minor or adult and current laws pertaining to therapists.
