Adelphi is seeking Behavior Technicians to provide behavioral support services to students at schools in Plano Texas. The ideal candidates will assist educational teams with implementing positive behavior strategies and individualized interventions that promote student participation safety and success.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in education psychology or a related field preferred
Knowledge of positive behavior supports and data collection practices
RBT certification preferred but not required unless specified by the assignment
School-based experience preferred
Responsibilities:
Implement behavior support strategies under the direction of a BCBA teacher or designated supervisor.
Provide individualized or small-group support to students with behavioral needs.
Collect and document data regarding student behavior interventions and progress.
Reinforce appropriate communication social academic and functional skills.
Support classroom routines transitions and student participation in educational activities.
Use approved de-escalation redirection and crisis-prevention techniques.
Communicate relevant observations to supervising professionals and educational teams.
Maintain student confidentiality and accurate service records.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
