Job Summary

Individualmust hold or be able to obtain North Carolina Professional Education Certification in at least one exceptionalchildrens area. Licensure also preferred in Elementary Education (K-6). Individual must be familiar with functional behavior assessment (FBA) and creation and implementation of behavior intervention plans (BIPs). Must have a knowledge of behavior interventions and support techniques for students with intensive needs. Individual will work with general educationteachers to determineappropriate activities for student inclusion. State salary scale based on experience with full benefits.
